○ Combat

During the combat sequences, Captain Velvet Meteor duo-teams with one of the heroes or heroines from Jump+ mangas and fights the various sources of Damien’s worries.

Battles take place as intuitive tactics games, including unique puzzles where you manipulate the environment to open doors and such.

Damien and each manga character has unique attacks including melee attacks, ranged attacks and charged attacks. You can also combine your duo’s abilities to unleash powerful combo attacks!

○ Exploration

The exploration phase allows you to freely explore the house you’ve moved into in Japan. Damien encounters various cultural elements that make him anxious, such as neighbors and his late grandfather’s portrait. To overcome these obstacles, Damien will journey to the imaginary world, become Captain Velvet Meteor, and fight his way through numerous epic battles. The player’s actions will determine which worlds you end up fighting in.

Born from a French father and a Japanese mother, shy boy Damien moves to Japan so that the whole family can live with his Japanese grandmother. However, everything Damien sees and touches in his new Japanese home is full of worrying elements, such as their pet dog growing aggressive from the stress of changing homes, unknown Japanese dishes being served during meals, and encountering unfamiliar insects during bathtime…!

Damien, struggling to cope with his new life in Japan, becomes the hero Captain Velvet Meteor and sets off to explore his imaginary world and face his numerous fears. Joining him during these epic mini-adventures are the heroes and heroines from Damien’s favorite Jump+ manga series. Can you guide Captain Velvet Meteor and his manga buddies past his challenges, and find emotional comfort amidst the cultural turmoil?

Shy boy Damien is prompted by his move to Japan to become the imaginary hero Captain Velvet Meteor. Teaming up with numerous characters from hit Jump+ manga series, Damien faces his fears and overcomes his challenges, one by one.
